Case Study: Clementine’s Town House Hotel

The Brief

We were approached by Clementine’s Town House Hotel marketing department asking for help and advice on how best to showcase their high end boutique hotel in York. We met with the client onsite and established that an interactive 360° Virtual Tour would be a perfect solution. We explained that this would allow prospective guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the hotel before making their booking.

We explained that although static images give a good first impression, a 360° virtual tour goes that extra mile as it allows guests to view the hotels facilities I.E:- Reception, Bar, Breakfast Room and each individual room in its entirety with no stone unturned. We arranged a date well in advance to work around the hotels very busy occupancy and guest departures and therefore carried out this project over 2 days to make sure all rooms were captured.

When we launched our newest hotel, Clementine's Townhouse, we created a boutique feel with individually decorated bedrooms throughout and a complete transformation of the public spaces into a brand new concept and design-led property. Communicating the extent of the unique spaces, numerous room types and variety of the style in the bedrooms on the website was proving tricky for guests to understand the variety on offer. The 360-degree floor plans from Rotograph have changed all of that. Guests can now almost try before they buy and with the knowledge of the inside of each bedroom they can even request a set bedroom for their stay. It has allowed us to accurately manage guest expectations, minimalising any customer complaints. The team at Rotograph we're fantastic to work with. They understood our challenge and knew just how to make sure they fit our brief. The whole process was quick and easy and ready to use in just a short space of time. It's been so successful we are now looking at launching at other venues.
